Chase Klugh

Director of Preservation


Chase Klugh joined the staff of HNF in 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Anthropology and a Master in Historic Preservation from the University of Georgia. As Director of Preservation, he manages and is involved in daily preservation activities including meetings of the Natchez Preservation Commission, tax credit projects, National Register nominations, preservation consultation, and other preservation related matters. Chase maintains HNF’s website and also serves as the social media manager. Chase previously worked for the Historic Rural Churches of Georgia project as public relations manager. His research interests include architectural history, health impacts and historic preservation, and the beginnings of the preservation movement. He serves on the board of the Mississippi Heritage Trust.
