The Record Room for the Adams County Courthouse was built between 1886 and 1892 as a stand-alone structure. The Old Adams County Jail is visible in the background of this historic image. Unfortunately, the Record Room building was demolished in the 1970s. Note the decorative open book above the entrance door.
